Nori Teriyaki is a leading teriyaki and boba restaurant in the Mukilteo area, offering rare vegan and vegetarian options for Chinese, Japanese, and Teriyaki food. Our menu includes classic dishes like sushi, katsu, curries, and bento boxes, as well as vegan bubble and fruit teas

THE TEAM

Our team consists of and owner Betsy, who can be found working in the front of the house and kitchen and who is an experienced entrepreneur in and out of the food industry! Betsy is a mother of one daughter and two sons, her family directly influencing Nori Teriyaki’s friendly, warm atmosphere and family-friendly energy. As a mother and community member, it is Betsy’s goal to create a positive and inclusive community for food-lovers in the Mukilteo area, particularly vegetarians and vegans


Our talented head chef is Kim, who we are proud to say has over ten years of experience as a chef. He has specialized in teriyaki for over half of his time as a chef and we are lucky to have his expertise and creativity on our team! Like our founder, Kim is a member of the Mukilteo community so his work gives back directly to his home.


Nori Teriyaki is set apart from other
Asian or vegan restaurants in the area because it combines the two in a delicious, innovative, and healthy way. It is largely unheard of for a restaurant in the Mukilteo area to offer such an extensive menu that includes plant-based options, meaning that we serve a greater population of our community than other restaurants. Our meticulous recipe-creating process, ingredients selection, and active adjustments to customer feedback make us a traditional restaurant with original twists according to what our customers say they want!

This means that you will receive a level of customer service and communication that is simply not possible at chain fast-food places or restaurants owned by bigger corporations. Our passion is for the food and ingredients themselves, making food that we are proud of, and successfully serving the community that we ourselves live in. This means that we welcome whatever feedback a customer has, big or small, as a means to improve our business and your dining experience.
